Hiring a Winning Team

The Managing for Success Reports provide a powerful combination of assessments that assist you in hiring a winning team. This cost effective and easy process combines the power of three assessments to select people that match your top performers.

You not only avoid making hiring mistakes, the cost of which is estimated to be 2 to 3 times an employee's annual salary, but you leverage the entire team.

1. Style Analysis

Looks at behavior and emotions and tells "how" a person behaves and communicates. It measures behavior with respect to Dominance, Influencing, Steadiness, and Compliance. The Managing for Successtm report provides insights into how the individual:

  • solves problems
  • sets their pace & responds to change
  • relates to people
  • follows procedures

In addition, insight is gained into the individual’s ideal work environment. What type of environment do they need to be productive? How can they best be motivated and managed? What are their strengths and what are their improvement areas?

2. The Personal Interests, Attitudes and Valuestm (PIAV)

Behavioral style is only half the picture. Equally important is the "Why" or the motivating factors for an individual. The Personal Interests, Attitudes, and Valuestm report looks at individual motivators. For example to what degree:

Are they motivated by monetary reward?  Do they prefer to have the outcome of their success in their own hands?  Will they tend to over or under service a client?

3. Work Environment Instrumenttm

The instrument was developed to provide a systematic and comprehensive way of exploring the behavior demanded by various jobs. Most jobs have a job description or a list of duties and responsibilities. A job description rarely tells us anything more than what the person is to do in the job; it leaves out how the person is to do it and when it must be done. The Work Environment assessment identifies all the human factors that are absent in job descriptions.

The Work Environment system can be used to:

  • create a master job graph
  • revitalize and re-direct staff
  • create a behavioral measurement for applicants
  • identify stressful job situations
